Our advance search feature is what truly sets Flick apart.

It will allow you to discover new ultra relevant hashtags on which your target audience engage. Our advanced search features include 3 different filters:

  • Limit
  • Number of posts (Media count)
  • Number of Average likes on top posts

Before we explore how to make an advanced search. Let's understand what these three metrics mean.

Limit: It simply allows you to control the amount of hashtags Flick outputs on searches. You can set it anywhere from 5 to 50 hashtags.
Number of Posts: You will be able to filter your search to find hashtags that have a certain number of posts on them.
Number of Average likes on top posts: You will be able to filter your search to find hashtags on which the ranking posts get a certain amount of average likes.

Still not clear? No worries let's run through a working example.

These inputs will output 20 hashtags related to streetwear that have:

  1. Between 100k and 500k posts on them
  2. Between 1k and 2.5k average likes on their top posts

Pro tip: The reason we use advanced search is to find new relevant hashtags for our content but on which we can compete. (They don't get drowned out by too many posts and we can easily rank on their top posts).

If you would like to further understand the importance of using the right size

Good luck and don't hesitate to contact the Flick team if you have any questionsπŸŽ‰
